Lyrics

[Intro]

[Verse]
Gather 'round ye salty dogs, a tale I will unfold
Of furry mates and frozen fates, a story brave and bold!
We're packin' bones and chew toys, a compass and a map
To find the Passage, icy passage, with nary a mishap!

[Chorus]
Heave ho, ye hounds of the sea!
Through frozen waves and blizzards free!
For the Northwest Passage, we'll bravely roam,
With wagging tails and a hearty groan!
Heave ho, ye hounds of the sea!
Adventure calls for you and me!

[Verse]
Young Franklin's ghost, he points the way,
Through ice-locked seas, come what may!
McKenzi's howl, a distant sound,
Where polar bears and walrus abound!
We'll sniff the trail, though cold and grim,
And paddle on with every whim!

[Chorus]
Heave ho, ye hounds of the sea!
Through frozen waves and blizzards free!
For the Northwest Passage, we'll bravely roam,
With wagging tails and a hearty groan!
Heave ho, ye hounds of the sea!
Adventure calls for you and me!

[Bridge]
The icebergs loom, like mountains white,
A chilling, vast and lonely sight.
But a bark of cheer, a hopeful woof,
Keeps spirits high, beneath this roof
Of endless sky, a frosty dome,
We're far from hearth, we're far from home!

[Verse]
We'll chase the seals, with playful leap,
And dig for treasures buried deep!
No matter how the cold winds blow,
Our loyal hearts will surely glow!
For glory, treats, and arctic fame,
We'll yelp aloud each explorer's name!

[Chorus]
Heave ho, ye hounds of the sea!
Through frozen waves and blizzards free!
For the Northwest Passage, we'll bravely roam,
With wagging tails and a hearty groan!
Heave ho, ye hounds of the sea!
Adventure calls for you and me!

[Outro]
